Update #1: We're looking at getting the server updated to 1.9 tonight!
Update #2: We have updated our proxy nodes, but our Minecraft servers do not currently support 1.9. This will be added once our core plugins are fully ready to go.
Update #3: We now support both 1.8 AND 1.9 clients!
Hey everyone,
With the release of 1.9 today, you are all probably wondering what is going to happen and when the server will be updating. To answer that question, we will likely be updating the server to 1.9 tomorrow.
The Development team will be hard at work to update our own plugins to work with 1.9, but there is no guarantee these will be ready when the server is ready to be updated to 1.9. There will be another post after this when we are certain we are ready to go!
Whilst this update has such a massive effect on Minecraft as a whole; specifically the PvP community, we are committed to make our PvP servers the best they can be, and as such, we will be making use of the 1.9 and 1.8 mechanics to craft (
) something spectacular! We know a lot of people do not like the new addition of the hit cooldown that is applied to every weapon in the game, so what we will be doing (specifically on KitPvP) is making new balanced kits that either have this extremely limited, or not at all! This means that weapons will have a very small cooldown or none at all! More news on this and KitPvP soon!
For this update, there are no planned resets of any server!
The future of this server is bright. Each day we are coming up with new ideas to bring to the server for you all to enjoy. In fact, we have a brand new project coming shortly, and it is looking golden!
