Christmas is upon us, and with that, comes our annual Christmas update! Our development team have been hard at work since the end of the Halloween update, and have brought you a lot of new content to enjoy for the Christmas period! With that, these are the following changes that have been made for our Christmas update:
Christmas-themed Hub!
Santa
Gifts you two presents each day for you to open at his sleigh in the Hub! These give you the chance to unlock various items, such as our newly released gadgets, hats, exclusive Christmas trail, player trails, and arrow trails!
Gadgets
These amazing new items have been added to Hub, and can be accessed via the cosmetics menu! There are currently eight different gadgets that you can use anywhere in the Hub to your heart's content. These gadgets range from snow balls, to rockets, to parachutes! To use these gadgets, you must have the ammo which can be obtained from Santa! There will be many more gadgets released as time goes on!
Next up, we have hats! These exquisite items can also be found in the cosmetics menu. There are currently 23 hats for you to unlock and wear, with many more coming in future updates! Just like gadgets, hats can also be found in presents from Santa!
Lastly, a brand new trail has been added to the trail menu! This Christmas-themed exclusive trail can only be found in a present from Santa! The trail is shaped like a Christmas tree with a golden star on top! Once Christmas is over, it can no longer be obtained, so if you do happen to unlock it, you will be one of the very few!
There has also been some changes made to Lockboxes on Survival by Incomp!
Added Shooting Star, a bow that launches players when used
Added Glacial Spade, a shovel that can insta-break ice and packed ice
Added The Crate Hoarder, a diamond axe with Sharpness IV, Unbreaking V, and Looting VI

Hey, guys. I've been teasing some images of upcoming features for the past few days, and I'm pleased to announce that these very features are now live on Survival!
The most important update is the addition of a little thing we call Lockboxes. Their animations are the same as the Mystery Boxes in our Prison server, as Lew_ was so kind as to let me use them. Here's a rundown of what they do:
Upon your first login of the day, which is anytime past 12:00 AM CT (Central Time Zone), you will receive one Lockbox Use. This doesn't stack--if you log in after two days, you'll only receive one Lockbox Use.
It costs one use to open a Lockbox.
You may find a "Lockbox Voucher" in Heroic crates, which, upon right-click, adds one Lockbox Use to your account (this allows you guys to sell Lockbox Uses).
There are five tiers of Lockbox Items; Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, and Exquisite
You may view your amount of Lockbox Uses with /uses.
Lockboxes will contain holiday-themed items, if any.
The time is ripe for your item suggestions to be implemented into the Lockboxes! Make sure you pass on your ideas to me! If it gets added (it probably will), I'll put your in-game name on the item's lore.
To get started with Lockboxes, use /warp lockbox in-game!
