Hello,
My name is Lew and I like to break stuff and today I pushed a change in the way the leveling system worked. Basically when we first implemented the leveling system as you go up levels, your EXP didn't reset. However, we weren't happy with this.
Firstly I tried to fix this and did find a fix using my algorithm for levels. However this pushed levels above 60 to require EXP larger than Integer.MAX_VALUE (Yeah.... that's a big number). So I broke java.
So I worked and worked for hours trying to find away that wont break everything. However I couldn't find one. Storing the level and the EXP separate was the only way. So I implemented that. It was meant to convert your old EXP into your new level however because your EXP now resets, I made levels require less EXP. Can you guess what this did? Well because you guys are so dedicated to NC, you had enough EXP for level 150+!
This is why some people have crazy levels. NobleProductions had to manually go through the database (of 6000 ENTRIES) and set everyone with a crazy level back to 10 - 20 (depending how high they were). Yup, he wasn't happy; woops. This means you may be higher / lower in levels but this was the only way to change the system without a complete reset.
If your level is wrong please tell me bellow. Include your IGN (CaSe SenSiTive) and your correct level. I will check your level you provided is correct. If you don't lie, you also get 100 tokens!
If you find someone with a high level and report that below, please include their IGN (CaSe SenSiTive), a screenshot (not edited full screen) and your IGN to receive 1500 tokens!
If you have a big level you are not in any trouble, it's my fault.
